About me

Marti Klein, NBC-HWC Marti Klein, NBC-HWC is a health and wellness coach certified by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching and the National Board of Medical Examiners. She received her training at Emory University. She is also a lifestyle medicine coach, a graduate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine’s certificate program. She recently completed the introductory course in Culinary Coaching from Harvard Medical School, and plans to pursue advanced studies in July.

She has a broad-based background in the medical field, including graduate work in Epidemiology and professional work experience in clinical settings and as a consultant. In addition to coaching, she has many years of experience working with people as a college instructor and judge.

Ms. Klein is active in professional organizations. She is an affiliate member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and a clinician member of the National Lymphedema Network. She is also a member of the Lipedema Educational Group, which seeks to educate health care providers about that medical condition.

She was recently honored to be the featured guest on the LymphCast podcast and the guest host for Lipoedema UK’s "Living with Lipoedema" weekly members' webinar.

She looks forward to giving a talk on self care from the viewpoint of a health and wellness coach for Lipedema, Dercum's Disease, Madelung's Disease, and FML at the 2024 Fat Disorders Research Society (FDRS) conference in Saint Louis, Missouri.

She also looks forward to presenting at this years’ Lipoedema Australia Conference in Melbourne regarding health and wellness coaching for lipodema.
